Is a cracked glass cooktop worth repairing?
Sometimes. A hairline crack away from an element can often be replaced as a glass top assembly. Deep breaks with exposed wiring mean the cooktop should stay off until a technician inspects it. We will tell you honestly what we find.
Why does my oven take forever to preheat?
Usually a weakening bake element or, on gas models, an igniter that no longer draws enough current to open the safety valve. Worn door gaskets and warped doors also bleed heat. We meter the igniter to confirm before replacing anything.
Can you fix the electronic control panel?
Often, yes. Some panels fail because of a bad membrane switch or a relay, not the whole board. Others need board replacement. Availability varies by model age, and we will check part sourcing before you commit to the repair.
How long does a typical visit take?
